Yesterday, Sept 2nd, he turned the big 6-0 and we couldn't allow him to spend it alone. We flew into Detroit late last night and Hubby's mom picked us up at the airport. I don't think my father-in-law had a clue--or at least I hope not! I wrote this post before we left, but couldn't chance ruining the surprise. Hopefully everything went off without a hitch!
Between the 3 of us, we've planned a fabulous birthday weekend in Northern Michigan complete with golf for the boys, shopping & a spa morning for the ladies, yummy food, & beautiful Lake Michigan! We'll be back middle of next week with plenty of photos & stories!
